چکیده

Various pretreatments are employed to increase the utilization of rice straw as a ruminant feed ingredient minimize its negative environmental impact. However, an efficient alternative is still needed. The purpose this study was evaluate ability ammonia and/or white-rot fungi (Pleurotus ostreatus) degrade lignin, nutritional value, and enhance rumen fermentability straw. Rice treated with basidiomycete (P. untreated control under solid-state fermentation employing completely randomized design. crude protein increased from 2.05% in 3.47% ammoniated straw, 5.24% ostreatus), 6.58% ammoniated-basidiomycete fungi-treated had least lignin content (3.76%). Ammoniated-basidiomycete improved vitro dry matter digestibility (65.52%), total volatile fatty acid (76.56 mM), gas production (56.78 mL/g) compared (56.16%, 67.71 mM, 44.30 or (61.12%, 75.36 49.31 mL/g), respectively. treatment straw’s digestibility, acids, production.

Effect of white-rot basidiomycetes-treated wheat straw on rumen fermentation in artificial rumen.

This study evaluated three white-rot basidiomycetes for their potential to improve the ruminal degradation of wheat straw. Pleurotus ostreatus (PO), Pleurotus ostreatus-mutant (PO-M) and Trametes gibbosa (TG) were incubated on wheat straw for 30 days at 28 degrees C. Neutral detergent fiber (NDF), acid detergent fiber (ADF), crude protein and in vitro dry matter digestibility (IVDMD) were deter...
